A single dead specimen was found within one of the UV lamps used on the light trap.

Now further down the valley, we came to more farms adjacent to the track, but still bordered by wild areas hugging the now larger stream (or it could now be considered a small river). Olive trees became more frequent, and terraces again appeared as we progressed.

The lower part of the Plantation House was used for Breakfasts on the terrace. It was a pleasant position to look at the scene across the gardens and pools before you whilst you ate.

Pat and I taken from the top of the terraces looking back towards the main ruin area. We were only there for about 4 hours exploring the ruins, and the scenery was constantly changing with weather differences. It is a very atmospheric place when you sit on the terraces and wonder about the people who lived here before the Spanish arrivals.

As we arrived late at night, and just went straight to sleep on arrival, the morning after is always "exploration" time, and inevitably coincides with Breakfast. This hotel, built on a fairly steep hill-side with the rooms all small chalets set amongst the natural and garden trees was quite beautiful and a delight just to walk around.
