during the lockdown period I've had the opportunity to trawl through more photographic family material, this is a scan of a glass plate image of my granny and one of her sisters in about 1912

during the lockdown period I contented myself with making lumen prints using old darkroom photographic paper and any plant material I had to hand, left in a picture frame out in the sun to develop. This was one of my first and favourites, using daffodils

an early morning walk to my local lake, there is a viewing platform onto which clambered two ducklings and their mum, they were after the frozen peas (defrosted first) I had brought them

In 1923 my great uncle Leonard visited Paris. He was an artist living in London at the time and was very smitten by the city from the postcards he sent home. He described Paris as being really beautiful and the people so charming and natural and their personality seeming to be reflected in the city itself. I discovered this set of postcards during this period of lockdown. I am lucky enough to be furloughed at home at present which has given me the time to look through old family photos and postcards.

going back to film Lubitel 166B and kodak ektar 100 film - the viewfinder was stuck so I had to point, shoot and hope! - double and a half exposure - pleased with the quirky effect - I might try more of this experimental stuff
