Burnham- on- Crouch This is a small Parish in the Maldon district Of Essex .... A yachting Centre. Known as the Cowes of the East coast. It was once an Oyster Port. Ideal for walking & seeing the Nature Reserve for Wildlife. Farmers market with local produce. Not far from me.

I will be off for a few weeks owing to builders coming so a lot to do before & after.

Shadow can make all the difference in an image.
Find a subject with shadow that defines the image.
Without that shadow, the image would be much less impressive.

My neighbours Cat comes in my garden every day for years , & curls up, but she won't let me near her always just out of reach. She finds it peacful coming from a home of 3 young children.. This taken with a long lens. Only way to get a good shot . I call her ' Matilda '

This is taken on a small place called "Two Tree Island " on the Thames estaury not far from London. I love it there . Was many years ago a Household Waste Centre..Now it has been given back to nature with a wonderful Nature Reseve..
