Knockdamph Bothy is a remote former stalkers' hut, located in the Scottish Highlands overlooking Loch an Daimh, maintained by the Mountain Bothies Association and on the Cape Wrath Trail route. You can walk in from Ullapool or Oykel Bridge.

Another bothy detail - Strathchailleach Bothy, known as Sandy's Bothy, is a remote mountain shelter maintained by the Mountain Bothies Association (MBA) in a wild part of Scotland on the Cape Wrath Trail, known for its history as adopted the home of James McCrory Smith (Sandy) who lived the life of a recluse there. His art work still adorns the walls.
