If you see the ADMIN WANTED image on the group icon and description, then please consider becoming a group administrator, or help to find one. It is also recommended to have even number of group administrators and moderators to make the moderation of contributions easier.

When the group is way too inactive, the group is closed and may become deleted later on. The reasons for the closure become then explained, and suggestions for alternative groups given. If someone disagrees, they still have option to save the group.

Some inactive groups may become archived if the topic is worth of it. If the topic becomes popular again, and new admin(s) foud, the group can be reopened.

Choose your audience

You can publish your documents between everyone, or only between your ipernity contacts. Moreover, you can further limit the access to your ipernity friends and/or family only.

Choose the license

Besides reserving all rights, you can share under Cretive Commons or share for free to use.

Choose the shared file size

You can choose what you share. You can for example let selected people to download and copy the image code to embed your images elsewhere.

Join to already existing groups

There are hundreds of already existing groups around ipernity. Many of them have become inactive during past years. But there are many successful and active groups to choose from.

Challenge groups are great places to give and get feedback

Establish your own group

To start your own group is easy. But make sure you first read the group guidelines. It is also advisable to first join and participate to already existing groups to get to know people. Once you get contacts around ipernity, you also learn what groups may work and become popular.

Groups comes with number of features to control the members and visibility. You can for example have a private discussion group with no contributions. Or let your members contribute, and use discussions between group administrators and moderators only.
