1) Note - contributions are moderated. There may be a delay in acceptence to the group of a few hours to a few days.

2) Keeps suggestions of one's own photos to only your absolute favorite animals and your very best images of those animals.

3) Only a single image from a series by one photographer of the same animal will be accepted.

4) Suggestions of other people's animal photos should be of ones that you truely are impressed by - both the animal and the photo.

5) Personal request - If you add a photo to the group, take the time to comment on at least one photo already in the group. Let's make everyone feel welcome and seen. (I won't be making this a rule! It is only a personal request by me.)

Hi! I'm back from my winter trip. I hope everyone had a grand December. I'm ready for 2020 to be full of wonderful experiences and cool photos.

I would like to encourage people to comment on other photos in the group. Perhaps especially ones that don't have many comments - we all love to be noticed. I try to comment on each photo that comes into my groups, but I can't ever keep up with them all.

Personally, I enjoy constructive comments as well as accolades and personal thoughts on my photos. I know that some people aren't looking for constructive comments - hopefully if they receive some from me they will let me know and I will remove my comment.

Feel free to comment on this discussion! I'm happy to have a conversation around photos, rules, cats, chocolate, music, etc...
