MJ Maccardini (trailerfullofpix) has started a discussion:

I'm not sure if the East End has any hard and fast boundaries, but I thought I'd throw this open for discussion. For the purposes of this group, how do we define the area of the East End?

As a non-Londoner, I'm not really qualified to answer definitively, but as an honorary Londoner (I like to think) I'll put in my 2p.

Western boundary: The City
Southern boundary: The Thames
Eastern boundary: The Olympic Park? The River Lea?
Northern boundary: Hackney Road? The Regent's Canal?

Looking forward to seeing how others in the group answer this.

Cheers.
