Guido Werner has started a discussion:

Dear group members,

for quite a long time this group hasn't had an administrator and contributions were limited to only one per month. In the meantime, myself and Jean Vernet have been appointed as the new Administrators of this group. I have increased the limit to five photos per member per day. Therefore you should now be able to contribute actively to this group again.

The banner and the group icon have also been changed and are now photos from members of this group. It might be a good idea to change the banner photo and the icon occasionally so that photos from different members can be used for this purpose over time.

By the way: We could also use the discussions section of the group more frequently. For example we could discuss technical aspects. Which cameras or filters do we use? How do we process our infrared photos and which software do we use for that?

We could also help beginners in infrared photography to learn the basics of infrared photography. The latter would for example be relevant for me. So far I have not started to shoot infrared photos. But I very much like this kind of photos. I am very curious which hardware and software you use for your infrared photos and how I should proceed if I want to try my first steps in this kind of photography.

Best regards
Guido

Ｄｉｒｋ has started a discussion:

Die Bilder sehen alle gut aus! Einige gefallen mir natürlich mehr als andere, aber alle Bilder haben etwas besonderes, eben, weil man Infrarotstrahlung nicht „einfach so“ sehen kann. Womit ich auch schon beim Thema wäre: Welche Hardware benutzt ihr für eure IR-Bilder?

All the pictures are great. Some i like more, some i like less, of course. But all pictures are special, because you can’t see infra red rays “as they are”. This brings me to the topic: What hardware do you use for your infra red pictures?

Meine Kamera: Sony Alpha A100 (jaja, Sony - So nie. Die A100 ist die letzte Minolta, nur mit Sony-Label *g*) Mein Filter: Hoya R72.

My cam: Sony Alpha A100 (yeah, i know, Sony... but the A100 is the last Minolta, only with Sony label). My filter: Hoya R72.

Und was ist mit dir?
(And what about you?)
