Dear members,

I'm not sure I will stay with this group. I promoted some active quality members to moderator or admin. Wish you all the best.

Your terrible admin,
Nils

Dear members, please, no animals.

The very first rule:

1 - Only Portraits of a Person or People are allowed in the group.
(So ... no cars, bellies, cats, dogs, landscapes or other non human objects.
There are other groups for this kind of photos).

Dear members, to keep this Portrait group a real group for Portraiture we had to add another rule:

5 - Snapshots will be deleted. No photos during coffee on terrace please, unless they are very well composed an have a real portraiture value.

Let's talk about quality.

Do we want quality portraits? or will anything do?
I would prefer some kind of minimum quality ...
I mean, I feel not every headshot is a portrait.

your suggestions please.

I know nobody wants rules, but this group is called Portrait. So I suggest we post portraits here. Do we also want belly's and cars or landscape photos here? Than we don't need any admin do we?

waiting your suggestions.

bombed as new admin,

Nils A.

Hello,

It looks like the group icon (or avatar) is a photo of Farzana by Ed de Vlam.

see: photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2829420

and : photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2761471

I don't see him at Ipernity or as member of the group.
Do we have his permission to use this photo?

regards,

Nils A.
